Immediate opening for a full time HVAC Service and Building Automation Systems Regional Salesperson

Job Overview:

WHV Inc. is seeking a driven and results-oriented HVAC Service and Building Automation Systems Regional Salesperson to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business, and maintaining relationships with existing clients within a designated region. Your expertise in HVAC services, building automation systems, and energy efficiency solutions will enable you to effectively meet the needs of light commercial, commercial, and industrial customers.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the HVAC service and building automation sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including property managers, facility managers, engineers, contractors, and business owners.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for HVAC services, building automation systems, and Testing and Balancing.
  • Promote and sell a range of HVAC service offerings including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as building automation system solutions and testing and balancing.

Market Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market demands, and competitive offerings to effectively position products and services.
  • Provide consultative sales support and technical expertise to customers, ensuring their needs are met with tailored HVAC and building automation solutions.

Proposal and Quotation Development:

  • Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, pricing quotes, and project scopes to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions and draft accurate, competitive, and compelling proposals.

Account Management:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by providing excellent customer service and post-sales support.
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings to ensure customer satisfaction and identify future opportunities for sales growth.

Sales Reporting & Strategy:

  • Track sales activity and client interactions.
  • Provide updates on sales forecasts, pipeline progress, and market conditions to the Sales Manager.
  • Contribute to the development of regional sales strategies and marketing campaigns to expand market reach.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with in-house engineering and manage projects to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback on customer requirements to help drive product and service improvements.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s degree in HVAC preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, building automation, or related industries.
  • Service Technicians looking to change career paths are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of HVAC technologies and building control systems is required.
  • Will train the right candidate in project management and estimating.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to present technical products and solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time- management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Will train the right candidate

Travel: This role requires frequent travel within the Eau Claire market.
